Welcome to Highland Park Ford Lincoln! Meet Jeremy

Welcome to Highland Park Ford Lincolns mew Blog!  To keep more connected with our customers we will be sharing interviews with employees, highlights of new cars and all the news you can use!

Our Sales Consultants each have their own unique personalities and knowledge to share. This month I interviewed  Jeremy Abitbol who has been part of the Highland Park Ford Lincoln family since 2015. For our customers that have worked with Jeremy, you know he is always ready to help with a smile (and a joke) and is always up on the latest Ford and Lincoln vehicles as even outside of work, Jeremy loves his cars!

1. What is your Favorite car on the lot and why? Ford Mustang!  It is easily the best product we make and an American Icon that has been around for 50+ years.  There are only a few cars that have been continuously sold in America for over 50 years.  Corvette, Porsche 911, and Ford Mustang.  It’s good to be on that list.

2. What features stand out to you about this vehicle?  A naturally aspirated and high revving V8 is still available.  This type of engine has been slowly disappearing in the car business as other manufacturers have been downsizing and adding turbochargers to keep up with emissions regulations.  The long hood is another design feature I really like about the car.  When you see that long fender and hood line, you know you are looking at a Mustang.  Lastly, the manual transmission is still offered, and that is a feature enthusiast really enjoy.  It has three pedals and isn’t for everybody, but those that do drive stick shift know there is no better and more engaging way to drive.

3. What Ford vehicle would you recommend to your customers and why?
The new Ford Explorer.  It is a perfect fit for families in the North Shore.  It is the midsize SUV sales leader for many reasons.  It offers excellent gas mileage, seating capacity, safety features, towing capability, and is packed with technology.

4. What Lincoln vehicle would you recommend to your customer's and why? The Lincoln Navigator.  This is the best in class full-sized luxury SUV that everybody wants.  Lincoln really stepped up their game with the redesign in 2018 and we are struggling to keep these vehicles in stock because they are so good!

5.  What Vehicle are you currently driving? What do you like most about it?
Ford Edge and Ford Mustang (surprised?!).   The Edge is a great family vehicle.  It has a very large cargo area and abundant interior volume.

6. What new vehicles are most excited to introduce to your customers?  The new Ford Bronco.  It will be such an awesome product for us.  Customers cannot wait to see it!  Especially OJ Simpson.  (Note from interviewer: Bad Joke Jeremy, but hey its Jeremy and he’s a jokester so we’ll let it slide)
7.  What do you like most about working at Highland Park Ford Lincoln?  I like Al and Marty and the family atmosphere they promote.  Working here and buying a car here are equally enjoyable experiences.

Hope you've enjoyed our first blog, and getting to one of our sales consultants.
